Amy Neugebauer first came to Ashoka as the Central Europe Desk Officer in 2001, after a few years of advising non-profits and leading community development initiatives in Estonia and the United States. Through Amy’s work with Ashoka’s expansion into Western Europe, she became the Associate Director for International Operations, Europe. Later, while earning a Masters Degree in Urban Planning, Amy ran the College Park City-University Partnership, a CDC responsible for designing and implementing strategic collaborations between the City of College Park and the University of Maryland, including a multi-million dollar affordable housing program. Amy returned to Ashoka in 2011 and now splits her time between integrating across teams and functions at Ashoka and overseeing Ashoka’s efforts in East Asia.
