As Director of Social Entrepreneurship, Amy plays a key role in structuring the Foundation’s growing operations, identifying talented entrepreneurs, and leading the social enterprise portfolio. As the Foundation’s founding director, she channeled the Trustees’ vision, placing emphasis on Social Entrepreneurship.

Prior to joining The Pershing Square Foundation, Amy, a social worker by profession, worked with not-for-profits in the Greater New York area providing treatment and developing mental health models with focus on ‘out of school youth’ and trauma work. She also maintained a private practice and taught other clinicians in the field.

Amy is a member of the Harvard Medical School Global Health Advisory Council, and a board member of The Big Bang Philanthropy Group. She is a graduate of Bennington College and NYU School of Social Work.
